Boyes Construction Photos
The Boyes Cabin was designed for a retired couple and their visiting family and friends, including deaf members who use ASL to communicate. Both views of Detroit Lake and clear sight lines within the house were very important in the design of this compact home. Other features include: one bedroom and the bathroom are designed for wheelchair accessibility; the carpeted loft provides "sleepover" space for younger generations, and the space under the house provides storage for kayaks.
This home is being built with Class A fire-resistive exterior materials to mitigate damage from possible future forest fires.
